Mentor
Garimellaws was started on 30-07-2005 on the 75th Birth Anniversary of Mr. G S Jagadanandam the father and mentor of G V S Jagannadha Rao.
Known as GSJ to the bench and bar of Srikakulam the District head quarters of Srikakulam District in North East of Andhra Pradesh, he was a very friendly and gentle personality. A non-controversial lawyer known for his proficient knowledge in civil laws was an expert in Execution Proceedings. Soonavala’s commentary on Execution was his most favourite book which he had read innumerable number of times. He had put to use most of the provisions of Order XXI of the Code of Civil Procedure relating to Executions. Specific Relief and Hindu law were other strong subjects. He began his career with the files of his father late Jagannadha Rao which had considerable volume of Estate Abolition cases and partition suits.
He worked as Official Receiver at Srikakulam for a very long time, perhaps one of the longest terms.
